    .300 Blackout Upper Receiver

Posted by Hoa Ewing on Feb 7th 2020

Well made upper, but the bolt forward assist was not pinned properly causing difficulty charging the weapon as well as pulling the BCG out of the upper because the forward assist would catch the ribs on the bolt. Fortunately, I have some experience and tools to re-pin the forward assist. Bottom line, the upper mated with a DPMS lower receiver was fantastic. When zeroing the upper at 50 yards, the weapon was consistent enough to shoot a semi one inch group on target with iron sights. Several points of impact touched with one outlier. Overall, very satisfied with how the upper performed. Gave it a four star rating because of the forward assist. The finished is superb and the shipping was very quick. It would have received five stars if not for the forward assist.
